I love visiting this little gem of a museum in our town.i have learnt so much about the history of the town and Rossendale since I moved here 10 years ago.I have attended with my grandchild some of the many events they put on for the community which are all fun and educational.

There is always a lovely warm welcome from all the volunteers who help run the museum and always an offer of a brew when you call in.

The museum plays a vital role in safeguarding historical artefacts ensuring their preservation for future generations.

My brother and I visited this museum last week to do some research in their archives. I can't thank the staff enough - especially Wendy, who went out of her way to give assistance. Fantastic place and fantastic service. 😀

I have visited the Museum several times, it's a magical place with really friendly welcoming people, the displays are excellent and for me, now I am ancient 😉 brings back lots of lovely memories of my childhood. However the most wonderful visit was just before Christmas one year when Wendy let me have a sneak preview of the Christmas display. It was so beautiful and so well done that I felt really emotional that they had captured a perfect family Christmas so well. A big thank you to Wendy and all the people who keep the Museum going, without them a lot of Bacup history would be lost to us all which would be a disaster for future generations.
